Mr. Charles Edward "Chuck" Offutt, 52, of Richlands, N.C., died Saturday, April 7, at his home.
He was the husband of Sharon Byrd Offutt.
He was the son of Linwood and Helen Walters Offutt of Frederick.
Mr. Offutt served in the U.S. Marine Corps, retiring as a first sergeant in 1990, and worked with Craven Electric Supply Co.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his parents are two daughters, Wendy Floyd of Louisburg, N.C., and Kimberly Briese of Richlands; two sisters, Virginia Miller of Frederick, and Arlene Roderick of Ijamsville; one brother, Linwood Offutt Jr. of Frederick; and four grandchildren, Jessica Briese, Elizabeth Floyd, Kristy Briese and Joseph Floyd.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter Offutt and Franklin Offutt.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, at Jones Funeral Home, Richlands.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, at Richlands United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Charlene Pierce-Guider officiating.
Interment, with military honors, will follow in the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, Jacksonville, N.C.
