Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Arnold Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Hopkins officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Calvary Cemetery in St. Louis.
Charlene was born Oct. 12, 1937 in Nokomis, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Lena Reisacher. On Oct. 15, 1958 in St. Louis, she married Frederick P. Leiding, Sr. He passed away on July 23, 1995.
Mrs. Leiding had been a bookkeeper for car dealerships in Kansas City and St. Louis, Missouri and Tulsa, Oklahoma for over 50 years. She was an avid reader and in her retirement she taught sewing to her granddaughters, made quilts and did not miss a St. Louis Cardinals baseball game.
In addition to her husband, Fred Sr., Charlene was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Leiding Sr.; one granddaughter, Kara Hopkins; twin sister, Marlene Mareschal; and two nephews, Steve Mareschal and Jerry Mareschal.
