Jimmie C. (Jim) Schubert of Wartburg passed away peacefully at home May 10, 2015, he was 87. He was a long time member of Liberty Baptist Church and a devout Christian. Jim was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served in the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre during WW II, earning the WWII Victory Medal. Before retirement Jim worked as a master mechanic with several area dealerships and opened Jim's Garage in Wartburg in 1962. He is preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Marcia Schubert, Sister: Mabel Redmon, and Brother: LeRoy Schubert

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Rosella Schubert Daughters Donna and Son-in-law Mike Maples of Oakdale, Debbie and Son-in-law Keith Bullen of Tazewell
Son: Ricky and Daughter-in-law Jacqueline Schubert of New Tazewell 6 Grandchildren 14 Great Grandchildren 2 Great- Great Grand children A host of nieces and nephews and other family and friends Jim was very proud of all his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He loved receiving pictures and communicating with them on the internet.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 13, 2105 from 12:00 to 2:00PM at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00Pm with Dr. Paul Frick officiating. Interment will be in the Liberty Church Cemetery. The family requests in Lieu of flowers that donations be made to Liberty Baptist Church Building Fund in his Memory.
