Claudia Harms was a daughter of Amos and Telitha Jane Roe Simmons. She married Charles Lee Harms on January 15, 1940. He died September 28, 2003.

She is survived by six children, Janet (Jerry) Wills, Ruth Letzkus, Phillip (Judy) Harms, Angie (Bernie) Wiltshire, Kelly (Matt) Lembke and Greg (Jill) Harms, Riverview, eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Dorothy Schmedeke and Velma Jane Albatt.

One grandson, Jeff Letzkus, six brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death.
