Ruth K. Herrmann died early this morning in Denver at the age of 71. She was born May 14, 1898 at Pawnee City, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry C. Lindsay. She grew up in Lincoln and was graduated from the University of Nebraska.

She was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority, Mortar Board, School of Music, Memorial United Methodist Church, PEO, Eastern Star, BPO Does, DAR of Nebraska, Society of Mayflower Descendants and Matinee Music Club.

She was married to Roy Arthur Herrmann July 13, 1940 at Lodi, Wisconsin, and they have made their home in McCook since.

Survivors are her husband, R.A. Herrmann; one son, John A. Herrmann of McCook; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Schreiber of Colorado Springs, Colorado; five grandchildren, Lindsay Sue and Cynthia Ann Schreiber; Sandra Dawn, Laurie Jeanne, and Jauna Kay Herrmann.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Harold Mitchell officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with the Herrmann Funeral Home in charge.
