Milton Michael Emden was a Attorney. He was the son of Jacob Emden (1879-1933). and Ophelia Flora Mund (Emden). (1882-1959). There was a younger sister named Sylvia Emden (Diener) (1911-1965). Both Ophelia his mother and Milton were both very prominent Attorneys.

On January 5, 1931 Milton married Annetta Ruth Adler (1912-1968). Out of this marriage Michael Jacob Emden (1937-2004) was born. Milton in his early years did typical Attorney work. In the late 40's he started working with the AAU in Cincinnati. AAU is the Amateur Athletic Union that was started in around 1888. Its purpose is to help Athletes mainly youth to better themselves as a Athlete. Many of them were pre-Olympic Athletes. Milton was President of the Boxing AAU and was reelected over 4 times to that position. He was responsible for the Boxing Association there in Ohio going to a automatic 8 count. Most of his driving force was to ensure the safety of the youth when they participated. His main focus was the youth.

Even when he was older he was still writing Editorials to various newspapers asking about when are they going to fix this and that for the youth. One article he wrote regarded a Tennis court that was left to get in a run down dilapidated condition, and Milton was able to obtain funding and interest in getting it brought up to standards. Milton also was active in the Temple Sports Club. He served a vital role that laid the foundation for many of Ohio's youth.
