Eva C. Bartley, 86, formerly of Piketon, Ohio and more recently of Columbus, Ohio passed 8:05 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2015 in the Sanctuary at Tuttle Crossing with her family by her side. She was born July 28, 1928 in Wakefield, Ohio, the daughter of the late Everett Emory Clemmons and Teelie (Green) Clemmons. On January 13, 1945 Eva was united in marriage to Basil Theopolis Bartley who preceded her in death February 14, 1995. Surviving are her daughter and husband of Columbus, Ohio, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Her parents, husband, son, Michael Bartley, two daughters, Kathy Bartley and Yvonne Mezger, three brothers, Elwood, Everett and Buford Bandy Clemmons and a sister, Elnora Adeline Aleshire, preceded Eva in death. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2015 at the HOWE WHEELER BOYER HORNBACK FUNERAL HOME in Piketon, Ohio with Rev. Tillson Greene and Chaplain Kevin Greene, officiating. Burial will follow in Bailey Chapel Cemetery, Piketon, Ohio. Friends may call at the Howe Wheeler Boyer Hornback Funeral Home from noon until the service hour on Sunday.
