Rosalie died Monday, May 4, 2015 at her home.
Rosalie was born July 21, 1946 to Menno and Dorothy (Rosenbaum) Mennenga in Estelline, SD. She grew up and went to school in Estelline, graduating from Estelline High School. Following high school, Rosalie moved to Watertown, SD to attend Lake Area Technical Institute to become a beautician. While attending school and working at Kentucky Fried Chicken, she met her future husband, James Bury. She worked as a hair stylist in Bristol, SD, then moved to Webster, SD in the early 1980s. In 1986 Rosalie moved to Aberdeen to work at Avera St. Luke’s hospital as a dietary aid. She retired in 2001.
Rosalie enjoyed gardening, rummage sales and dining out with her sisters-in-law. She kept up on the all current events and news, watched soap operas and an avid fan of the Game Show Network. Rosalie was notorious for her driving skills.
She loved puppies and kitties and spent as much time as she could with her grandkids.
Rosalie is survived by her son, Michael Bury; two daughters, Holly Meyerink and Toshia Bury; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, James (6-22-2012).
