Jacob was the son of Johannes Irion-Schneider and Anna Maria Kaiser. He married Agnes Weyler on 29 Apr. 1733 in Schwenningen, Württemberg. He was a weaver.

Note: Multiple family trees at ancestry.com (copying from each other) misidentify Jacob as the son of Heinrich Irion and Maria Rosina Werner. These same trees misreport Jacob's birth as having occurred in 1710. The following records make Jacob's parents and birth date very clear. There is no need for confusion!:

1733. On the 29th of April was Jacob Irion, legitimate son of Johann Irion, citizen and resident of Talheim, with his Schwenningen bride, Agnes Welyer, legitimate daughter of Jacob Weyler, weaver here [in Schwenningen] in the [???] married.

From page 77 of the 1705-1808 Totenregister [death register] of the Protestant Church [evangelische Kirche] of Talhiem, LDS microfilm reel #1658749:

den 19 Nov: nachts um 12 Uhr starb Jacob Irion, weber allhier aus [einer?] hizigen Kranckheit aet: 39 Jahr 10 Monath und 17 Tag, und wurde am 21 begraben.

On the 19th of November [1750] at 12 o'clock at night died Jacob Irion, weaver here [in Talheim] from a feverish illness, aged 39 years, 10 months and 17 days, and was buried on the 21st.

The death record puts Jacob's birth at 2 Jan. 1711. On p. 73 (right) of the 1651-1682 & 1703-1774 Taufbuch [baptismal register] of the Talheim church, LDS reel #1658749, we find:

This shows conclusively that the parents of Jacob Irion (1711-1750) were Johannes Irion-Schneider and Anna Maria Kaiser, linked below.
