Oshkosh Daily Northwestern, Tues, August 22, 1967, Page 17: "Mrs. Hedwig L. Johnson, 69, of 2504 W. 20th Ave., died unexpectedly Monday at 9 p.m. at her home.

"She was born in Scandinavia, Wis., on June 11, 1899, daughter of Charles and Martha Heuer, and was married in Winchester on April 21, 1924, to Irvin W. Johnson, who preceded her in death on March 1, 1960.

"Mrs. Johnson had resided in the Oshkosh area since 1928, was a member of First English Lutheran Church and Lydia Circle of the church. She wa a former member of the Clairville school board, Korweldeen Club and Third Day Club.

"Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Robert J. Troller, Madison; two sons, Charles H. Johnson, Oshkosh, and Robert H. Johnson, Pickett; two brothers, Alfred Heuer, Appleton, and Carsten Heuer, Larsen; two sistes, Mrs. Almeda Tellock and Mrs. Erwin Metzig, Larsen; and seven grandchildren.

"Services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at First English Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Donald L. Gauerke officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.

"Friends may call at Marquardt Funeal Home from 4 p.m. Wednesday until 11 a.m. on Thursday, and at the church on Thursday from noon until the hour of services. A memorial has been established, to which friends may contributed."
