A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church by the Rev. Phillip Dedera.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorials may be made for Masses and for the Momence Fire Protection District.
Mrs. Thyfault died Saturday, Jan, 1, 1994 at Heritage House in Kankakee.
She was born Nov. 19, 1913 in Momence, the daughter of Frank and Mary Adamski Bydalek.
She married Paul Thyfault in October 1935 in Momence. He died Oct. 13, 1977.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Dianne Thyfault and Gary and Marilyn Thyfault, all of Momence; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Clara Christjansen of Kankakee, Berta Schuba of Oakbrook and Helen Lenegan of Chicago.
A son, Joseph, is deceased.
Mrs. Thyfault was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and a member of the Council of Catholic Women.
From 1945 to 1958 Mrs. Thyfault operated the Thyfault Family Paint Store in Momence. In 1949, she and her husband and their partner established the Red Cedar Lanes bowling in Momence.
