Two of their daughters, Catharina Elisabetha ("Katherine", 1871-1944), who married Johann Georg Schäfer, and her next-younger sister, Eva Elisabetha (she was also called "Eiflich" or "Effie", 1873-1959) , who married David Jung (last name later changed to "Young") came to the United States with their families. Both families crossed over the ocean in 1907, Eiflich, with her husband and family, arriving in New York on November 16th of that year.
