Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at the Cotter Funeral Home, Momence, where services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Clarence Thacker will officiate.
Burial will be in Momence Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Kankakee Valley Hospice or to Jehovah Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Momence.
He was born Feb. 12, 1922 in Grant Park, the son of Herman and Ida Linderman Eckhoff.
Mr. Eckhoff was a truck driver for 17 years at Rudolf Express Co.
He was a veteran of World War II.
His wife, the former Vera Gore, whom he married July 3, 1948 in Momence, died June 13, 1995.
Surviving are one brother and two sisters-in-law, Ralph and Mickie Eckhoff of Manteno and Virginia Eckhoff of Kankakee; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Maryetta and Robert Giger and Pearl and Leon Hunte all of Momence; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert and Stephanie Core of Momence and Beryle and Arvin Rau of Minnesota.
Deceased are two brothers and two sisters.
He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses Momence.
He enjoyed woodworking and traveling.
