Born in New Castle on April 24, 1928, Theodore was the son of the late Thomas M. and Nancy Saltzer Ruehl. He married the former Almerinda M. Viggiano in 1956 and she preceded him in death in in 2005.
Mr Ruehl was a U.S. Navy veteran and served during WWII.
He retired from Pennsylvania Engineering where he worked as a machinist. Theodore enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family.
Survivors include a son, David C. Ruehl and wife Diana of Cleveland, Ohio; a daughter, Wanda L. Sachetti and husband Ray of New Castle; four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, Theodore is preceded in death by three sisters, Emma McCusky, Josephine Kratzer and Dela Mae Leonard.
