Barbara Jean (Essary) Brandt, 76, of Beeville, died Wednesday, July 8, 2015.


Mrs. Brandt was born July 25, 1938, in Refugio County to Bertha (Schultz) and Arlie Essary.

She married Louis C. Brandt in Refugio on April 4, 1959, and was a homemaker and a member of Faith Lutheran Church. She also worked for Salch Printing and Hallmark Cards at H-E-B in Refugio.


She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.


Survivors include three children, Garland (Wanita) Brandt of Ulysses, Kansas, Brenda (Wes) Williams of Refugio and Sheila Brandt of Caldwell; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Sharon Ressman of Woodsboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.


Pallbearers will be Garland Brandt, Wes Williams, Brandon Marsh, Michael Krietsch, Jason Lee, Kelly Barrell and Mark Zwernemann.
