Ron Biegler of Washoe Valley passed away on July 4th, 2015 after a long battle with cancer.
Ron was born on February 1st, 1941 to Joseph B. and Agatha Biegler in Wallace, Idaho. He attended Saint Pascal’s Catholic grade school in Spokane, Washington and graduated from North Central High School in 1959.

Ron worked over forty years in the elevator industry in both San Francisco and Reno. He resided in Washoe Valley until his death.

Ron will be remembered for his kind and compassionate heart, and giving spirit, his love of piloting his Cessna, and the many days spent with loved ones and friends on the family houseboat.

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Susan of 23 years, his son Dan, and wife Debbie and their son Kevin, Ron’s stepsons Mark, Craig, and wife Valerie and their children Dillon, Ryan, Devan and her husband Dillon and their children Paityn and Audrina, Ron’s stepdaughter Shelli and her children Cameron, Caila and her daughter Ava. Ron is also survived by his brothers, Duane, his wife Dorothy, Joe his wife Lydia, and Ron’s brother Chuck.

The family thanks Chaplain Sister Marie O’Connor and Pastor Bruce Henderson for their loving ministry to the Biegler family.

A Rosary vigil will be held at Walton’s Chapel of the Valley in Carson City on Tuesday, July 14th at 6:00pm. A Funeral Mass and reception will be held on Wednesday, July 15th at Saint Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Carson City at 11:00am.

A private family internment will be held at Lone Mountain Cemetery in Carson City.
