Daughter of Edward William Wetzler and Anna Hamm, wife of Frederick Walter Roeber, whom she married on April 17, 1915 in Brooklyn, New York, and mother of Herminie Ehlert Roeber (married Charles George Leis, married Michael J. Bavosa) and Anna Martha Roeber.

In 1892, Lidia Wetzler, aged 2 was living in Brooklyn, New York, with her parents, Edward W. Wetzler, aged 30, a soda maker, and Annie Wetzler, aged 29, and siblings, Bella aged 5, Annie Wetzler, aged 4, and Edward Wetzler, aged 1.

In 1900, Lyda Wetzler, aged 9, born June 1890 in New York, and her brother, Herbert Wezler, aged 3, were living at 230 Cornelia Street, Brooklyn, New York, in the home of their grandparents, Anton Hamm, aged 68, a cooper, and Mary M. Wetzler, aged 41, who was in the mineral water business, and aunt, Elizabeth Wetzler, aged 42, and their children, Minnie Wetzler, aged 12, Robert Wetzler, aged 11, Florence Wetzler, aged 6, and Madalene Wetzler, aged 4, and her grandmother, Sophia Wetzler, aged 63.

In 1910, Lydia C. Wetzler, was living on Vermont Street, Brooklyn, New York, in the home of her uncle, Robert T. Wetzler, aged 57, the proprietor of a mineral water company, and aunt, Elizabeth Wetzler, aged 52, with cousins, Minnie Wetzler, aged 22, a stenographer for a photo engineering company, Robert Wetzler, Jr., aged 21, a bookkeeper for a gas company, Hortence Wetzler, aged 15, Adaline Wetzler, aged 14, and siblings, Isabella E. Obituary - Lydia C. Roeber, 84, of Sayville, died at the Sayville Nursing Home April 14. A long-time resident of the area, she and her husband had owned a delicatessen in Sayville on South Main Street ·many years age. She had been active recently in the Women's Fellowship of the Sayville Congregational Church. Mrs. Roeber is survived by her daughter, Herminie Leis; two grandsons, Charles and Peter Leis; three brothers, Harry, Edward and Herbert Wetzler; and a sister, Anna Groh.
