EPITAPH OF THOMAS HANDASYD PECK:
Here lies a Peck, who, some men say,
Was first of all a Peck of clay;
This formed by Hand Divine, while fresh
Became a common Peck of flesh.
Full forty years Peck felt life's bubbles
Till death relieved a Peck of troubles.
And here he lies, as all men must,
Tho' nothing but a Peck of dust.
