"Bonnie L. Jones Bonnie L. Jones, 55, of South Elgin, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2005 at Sherman Hospital after a long battle with Renal failure and Cancer. A beloved daughter, sister, and aunt, she is survived by her parents, James W. Jones of Lake Isabella, CA and Virginia V. Jones of South Elgin, IL as well as her three sisters, and two brothers and their families. A long time employee of Western Electric, she was a lifelong Elgin area resident. A memorial reception will be held at the home of her brother, Joel Jones at 2180 South Street in Elgin on May 15 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Those who attend are encouraged to bring pictures and memories of Bonnie to share. Her ashes will be inurned at Bluff City Cemetery in Elgin in mid-summer.
