SIEBEL, MARY SUE COWAN, 86, widow of Bernard W. Siebel Sr. of Louisville, passed away on September 12, 2009 in Franklin, TN.

She was preceded in death by parents, Cova Mae and Samuel G. Cowan Sr.; daughters, Sandra Siebel Penn Searcy and Susan Kay Siebel, son, Samual Siebel; and brothers, Robert L. Cowan Sr. and Samuel G. Cowan Jr.

Mrs. Siebel is survived by son Barry Siebel (Kathy); grandchildren, Brent Penn (Louise), Whitney G. Penn, Lauren Brooke Siebel and Holly Siebel Self (Kevin); great-grandchildren, Bryce and Presley Penn and Kiley Self; nieces and nephews, and special niece, Connie Sue Cowan (Richard) Carroll; aunt, Elizabeth Siebel and many loving friends and parishioners of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she worshipped for over 50 years.

Funeral Mass will be held noon Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1406 E. Washington St., with burial following at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is at Pearson's, 149 Breckinridge Lane, 4-7 p.m. on Monday.

Expression of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
