OBITUARY

Henry C. SCHEELE, 84, of North Street, Windsor Locks, formerly of Bloomfield, died at his home Monday. He was born in Germany, February 25, 1873, and had lived in Bloomfield 30 years before moving to Windsor Locks nine years ago.

Mr. and Mrs. SCHEELE had celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, November 3, 1957. He had served as a superintendent of an American-Sumatra Tobacco Co. plantation for 30 years until his retirement in 1949.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Lillie Miller SCHEELE; a son, Harry C. SCHEELE, both of Windsor Locks; two daughters, Mrs. Ann WILLIAMS and Mrs. Marguerite PINNEY, both of Bloomfield, eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the F. W. Carmon Funeral Home, 6 Poquonock Ave., Windsor. Burial will be in Granby Cemetery, Granby. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
