HERMAN JAEGER

Herman "Butch" Jaeger, age 77, of 1523 16th St., Two Rivers, died on Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 6, 2007, at Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers.

Butch was born on March 22, 1930, in Maribel, son of the late Alfred and Renata (Bloedorn) Jaeger. He graduated from Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, with the class of 1948. Butch served in the U.S. Army. On Nov. 3, 1962, he married Lois Stobbe at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Butch and Lois celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary this past Sunday. Butch was employed at Hamilton Manufacturing Company for 24 years. Butch enjoyed music. He sang in the chorus of the Clipper City Chordsmen for 15 years, and also was a member of the choir at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was an active member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, and a longtime Green Bay Packer fan.

Survivors include his wife of 45 years: Lois Jaeger; one son: Jeffrey Jaeger, Bayside; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Robert and Shirley Jaeger, Elburn, Ill.; and Paul and Sandy Jaeger, Ocala, Fla.; aunt: Reida Evenson, Valders; sister-in-law: Jean Haefner, Two Rivers; special cousin: Carol Bloedorn, Two Rivers; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by two sisters: Irma Ronsman and Norma Horning.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 9, 2007, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. David Scherbarth with burial to follow in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers, on Friday morning, Nov. 9, 2007, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.

Memorials, in Butch's name, may be made to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers, is assisting the Jaeger family with funeral arrangements.

Butch's family extends a special thank you to Dr. Barylak and the nurses of Aurora VNA Hospice for the compassion and care given to Butch and his family.
