Rosemarie A. Elich, 75, died unexpectedly July 19, 2006, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Butte on Aug. 29, 1926, to John and Agatha (Bruquetta) Tomich. She attended Sacred Heart Grade School and graduated from Girls' Central High School.

She married John Elich in Butte on June 16, 1946. She was an active member of St. John the Evangelist Church and Girls' Central Class of 1944. She dearly loved her husband John of 60 years. Her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her dog, Potise, were the love of her life.

We were truly blessed to have such a loving, caring, giving role model. She will be deeply missed by all. Words will never describe the person Rosemarie was and what a huge impact she made in all our lives.

She is survived by her husband, John Elich, Butte; daughters and son-in-law, Jo Ann and Charles Lewis, East Wenatchee, Wash., Rosemary and Ron Granberg, Butte; sons, John Elich and Tom Elich, both of Butte; grandchildren, Jason Elich, Brandon Lewis, Natalie and Curtis Grey, Nathon Lewis, Dave and Cori Hulverson, Jennifer and Leo Prigge, Marc Elich, Amy and Rob Gunderson, Melissa and Brian Demarias; 12 great-grandchildren; many special nieces and nephews.

Her remains are in Wayrynen-Richards Funeral Home where prayers will be recited Friday at 9:30 a.m., proceeding to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church where Liturgy of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m..
