A Herpich Dead.
August Karl Herpich died at his room on West Tenth avenue Tuesday night at 8:45 o'clock of paralysis aged sixty-six years.

The funeral will occur at the home of his son, R.V. Herpich, 510 East Tenth avenue tomorrow at 2:30 o'clock the funeral services being conducted by Adelphi Lodge No. 110 A.F. & A.M., of which the decesed was a member.

He was born at Saxmingen, Germany, Aug. 2, 1829 and came to this country when fourteen years old and remained for some time in New York. He came to this city fourteen years ago from Delavan, Ill., and has made his home here ever since. He was a tailor by trade and like all his countrymen, he knew his trade perfectly. His was an industrious quiet disposition and he counted among his friends all who knew him. It was not in his nature to make enemies and his life from a standpoint of honesty and integrity was above reproach.

The only living relatives of the deceased in this country is a sister in Chicago and five children, all of whom are grown. One daughter, Mrs. A.F. Cobean lives at Wellington and was with her father during his last illness. Miss Laura Herpich now lives at Kansas City and arrived last night in time to see her father before he died. He has two married daughters besides, one Mrs. E.W. Meeker, living in Delavan, Ill., and Mrs. Frank Chenoweth, living at Orchard, Texas.
