Will recorded 4 Nov 1908, Auglaize Co., Will Book Vol. 8, pg. 317 The last Will and Testament of H. William Katterheinrich, of Washington Township, Auglaize County, Ohio.
I, the said H. William Katterheinrich, being of sound and disposing mmind and memory, considering the uncertainty of continuance in life, and desiring to make such disposition of my worldly estate as I deem best, do make, publish, and declare this to be my last will and testament hereby revoking and annulling any and all former will or wills whatsoever by me made.
First: I desire all my just debts and funeral expenses to be paid, as soon as possible after my decease.
Second: I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Fredericka all the balance and residue of my estate, both real and personal, consisting of a farm of 100 acres in Washington Township, Auglaize County, Ohio, chattels, money, credits, etc., to be hers during her natural life or so long as she remains unmarried, and my widow.
Third: At the decease of my beloved wife Fredericka, the farm and personal estate is to go to my son, G. Benjamin, to be his, his heirs and assigns forever, provided: he pay the sum of Five thousand Dollars ($5,000) to my other children, share and share alike, to be theirs, their heirs and assigns forever.
It is my request that my son G. Benjamin live on the farm with my beloved wife, Fredericka, take care of her and see that the farm is properly managed and kept up. In case my wife remarries, then she is have her lawful dower and the value of her dower interest is to be deducted from the $5,000.00 my son is to pay my other children.
I nominate and appoint my beloved wife Fredericka to be the executrix of this will and request that no bond be required of her by the Court.
In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this eight day of July, in the year one thousand nine hundred and seven.

Katterheinrich, late a resident of the township of Washington, in said County, died on or about the 20th day of September A.D. 1908, leaving an instrument in writing herewith produced, purporting to be his last Will and Testament. That the said H. W. Katterheinrich died leaving Fredericka Katterheinrich, his widow, who resides at Washington Township, and the following named persons, his only next of kin to wit:
