Eleanor Bohman, 90, of 207 W. Water Street, Brillion, died Sunday at her home.
She was born December 30, 1892 in Brillion, a daughter of Nicholas and Margaret Steinmetz Kiefer.
On May 6, 1924, she married Frank Bohman in Black Creek. The couple farmed in the town of Brillion until 1958 when they moved to Brillion.
She taught school in the Black Creek and Sherwood area before her marriage.
They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1974. Mr. Bohman died December 25, 1979. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Brillion, the Christian Mother’s Society, Ladies Sodality, Catholic Knights Branch 83 and Brillion Senior Citizens.
Survivors are three daughters, Helen Bohman of Brillion, Mrs. Merlin (Delores) Krueger of Neenah and Mrs. Robert (Rita) Pardee of Sherwood; two sons, Lawrence of R. 1, Brillion and Clarence of Brillion; 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, one sister and four brothers.
A funeral Mass was held at St. Mary Catholic Church, Brillion. The Rev. Peter Taylor was celebrant of the Mass. Burial was in St. Mary Cemetery.
