Walter served in WWII as a Lieutenant in the USAAC and the USAF as a Bombardier on the B-24's.
Survivors are his wife, Sandra Kenney Beran of San Antonio TX; sisters, Doris Baker of Temple TX, Rose Roberts of Richardson TX and Mickee Washburn of Kerrville TX as well as numerous step children, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. A Church Service will begin at 12:00 PM on Friday, August 14, 2015 at Grace Baptist Temple, 4398 Bluemel Rd. San Antonio TX. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Military Honors.
