Cameron Floyd Fuller, 86, St. Joseph, Mo., formerly of Savannah, Mo., died Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998, at his daughter's residence in St. Joseph.

Mr. Fuller was born Feb. 28, 1911, near Rosendale, Mo., and lived most of his life in Rosendale, Bolckow, Mo., and Savannah. He was a graduate of Bolckow, Mo. High School and of the former Platt Business College in St. Joseph.

He was a water superintendent by the City of Savannah, and worked for several years with Northwest Missouri Rural Electric cooperative, Savannah. He also was employed by Schmitt Grocery, Cobb Grocery, and Swanson's Basket Store, all of Savannah.

Mr. Fuller was elected to five terms as clerk of circuit court and recorder of deeds in Andrew County before retiring in 1979. In 1950, and 1951, he also served as mayor of the City of Savannah.

Serving with the Army in World War II, he received four bronze stars in the America Theatre Campaign, as well as European, African, and Middle East Theater Campaign ribbons.

Mr. Fuller was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 71 A.F. & A.M., a member of Hugh De Payens Commandery No. 4 Knights Templar, Mitchell Chapter No. 14 Royal Arch Masons, Council No. 9 Cryptic Masons, and a former member of Hi-12 Club No. 49, all of St. Joseph; a 50-year member of Chapter No. 223 Order of Eastern Star, Savannah, of which he served as worthy patron three times; a former advisory board member of Savannah Assembly No. 32 Order of the Rainbow for Girls; a 50-year member of Dick Munkres American Legion Post No. 287, Savannah; and served as adjudant of Missouri's fourth district.

On October 25, 1936, Mr. Fuller married Thelma R. Harrington, in Savannah. She survives of the home.

Mr. Fuller was preceded in death by his parents, Mack E. and Lena B. Fuller; four sisters; Bertha Ferguson, Nora Rasco, Dora Coffman, and Wilma Lehman.

Additional survivors: a daughter, Lois Hook, St. Joseph; a brother, Homer Fuller, St. Joseph; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

Service: Wednesday, Feb. 4, 1998, First Christian Church, Savannah, Mo.
Burial: Savannah Cemetery, Savannah, Mo., with military rites under the direction of Dick Munkres Legion Post No. 287.
