Actress. Best remembered for her role as 'True Danziger' in the short-lived television sci-fi series, "Earth 2" from 1994 to 1995. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, she was born Jessica Madison Wright. The eldest of four children including actress Tori Wright, she began her career as a model at the age of five before turning to acting. She made her debut on a 1994 episode of the television series "Grace Under Fire," before being personally selected by Steven Spielberg to appear in "Earth 2." Known affectionately as Maddie, she went on to play the role of a sick child in an Emmy-nominated episode of the series, "ER," and appeared in the 1996 film, "Shiloh", as 'Sam Wallace.' Wright's other roles included the films, "The Secretary" (1995), "The Warlord: Battle For The Galaxy" (1998), "Safety Patrol" (1998), and the television shows, "The Nanny", "The Burning Zone." She began focusing on acting and modeling. In 2000, it was discovered while she was being treated for pneumonia that she had an enlarged heart, and would need surgery. She had a heart transplant in Cincinnati and continued her schooling, before moving to Kentucky. She graduated from the South Laurel High School, and then attended the University of The Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky. She graduated from college in 2006, and was to take a teaching job at the George Rogers Clark High School in Winchester, Kentucky. Her final film was "Happy Feet" (2006) until She retired from acting. On July 8, 2006, she got married in London, England, and she honeymooned in Hawaii, before returning home to start her new life in Lexington, Kentucky. She became seriously ill before returning home. On July 21, 2006, she suffered a fatal heart attack and passed away at the age of 21, one week before her 22nd birthday.
