Funeral services for Ronald A. Steitz, 82, will be held Monday, at Leonard Memorial Home, Glen Ellyn. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Glen Ellyn. Visitation will be Sunday, at the funeral home.

Born June 22, 1922, in Springfield, Mass., he died Thursday, Dec. 16, 2004, at his home. Mr. Steitz was a chief financial officer with the American National Can Company. He was also an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Ron received his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, earned his master's at Columbia University and pursued his Ph.D. at the University of Chicago. He taught in the master's program at the University of Chicago School of Business and was an avid fisherman, reader and gardener. Survivors include his beloved wife of 56 years, Anne Steitz of Glen Ellyn…
