Teresa sppears to have been been buried in the Rosemont Cemetery in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas Her family has also had a marker for her in the Woodson Gut Cemetery in Napfor where the rest of her family are buried.

Teresa Ann Marten, 45, went home to be with her Savior, Friday, October 9, 2009.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 15, 2009, at Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home with Roby Christie officiating. Burial will follow in Rosemont Cemetery under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Teresa was born on November 24, 1963, in Hazard, Ky., and as a child moved and grew up in Wichita Falls with her mother and younger sister. She was a free spirit who loved her family and friends with all of her heart. She met the love of her life, Kurt Marten, in 1994 and they wed on November 23, 1997. They made their life together in Burkburnett where they raised their four children before settling in Kamay, Texas. Teresa graduated from Rider High School in 1982 and Midwestern State University in 2000. She followed her family roots in real estate and was employed in title research and property management. She was the proudest Meemaw ever and will be missed greatly.

Teresa is survived by her husband, Kurt Marten of Kamay; four children, Caroline and her husband Justin Gellner of Iowa Park, Charles Harlow of Wichita Falls, Jessica Harlow and Christina Harlow of Kamay; three grand-children, Gavin, Dillon, and Audrey-Ann Gellner of Iowa Park; grandmother, Sarena McIntosh of Hazard, Ky.; an aunt, Linda Whitt of Hazard, Ky.; an aunt, Nita Curtin of Lake Arrowhead, Texas; Roby and Renee Christie of Wichita Falls; Erin, Houston, and C.J. Wood of Iowa Park; and many cousins in Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Morgan; sister and brother-in-law, Sherri and Jason Christie; nieces and nephews, Brittani Gossett, Holden, Cole and Kendall Christie; grandfather, Charles McIntosh; an aunt, Mattie Couch; and father, Clyde Burns
