Malverne, Oct 11--Frederick C. Parsons, 78 of Ray Lane, formerly controller of the Pittsburgh Life Insurance Company, died Wednesday of a heart attack.
A native of Indianapolis, he made his home in Pittsburgh for a number of years and also lived in Brooklyn before moving here two months ago. He was recently employed with the auditing dept. of the Metropolitan Life Ins. Co.,
Mr. Parsons was a member of St. Paul's Church Club of Brooklyn and is survived by his widow, Alice MacKenzie Parsons; three sons, Frederick, Clifford and Walter, four daughters, Hazel and Vivian Parsons, Mrs. Beatrice Weigel and Mrs. Fred Bond, and a sister Mrs. Ella Conover. Services will be held tonight at the home.
