Ollie Christina Whitt

Funeral Services for Ollie Christina Whitt, 84, of Route 1, Wappapello, will be held Thursday at 1:30 P.M. at the Cotrell Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Paul McHugh officiating. Burial will follow in Center Ridge Cemetary east of Greenville. She was born Jan. 9, 1896, in Lowndes and died Tuesday at Lucy Lee Hospital. She had been ill several years. She was married to Thurman Alexander Whitt, who died in 1971. Family members surviving include four children, Blanche Geiwitz of Williamsville, Hazel Allison of Poplar Bluff, Mirl Whitt of Poplar Bluff and Donald Lee Whitt of Texarkana, Ark.; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; six brothers, all of Shook - Oscar, Ed, Harry, Claude, Cliff and Ernest. Visitation is after 7 P.M. tonight at Cotrell Funeral Chapel.
