Born October 14, 1912 in Hamler, Ohio she was the daughter of Peter and Anna Dietrick. She married Albert Kissner in 1938 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Bavaria, Ohio.
Angela was a longtime member of St John Catholic Church where she was involved in many church organizations and activities throughout the years. She was devoted to her Catholic faith, her church, family and friends.
She is survived by her loving children:
Carolyn Scantlen of Defiance, Joanne Watson of Lillington, North Carolina, Tom (Maryanne) Kissner,of Centerville, Ohio, Judy (Terry) Peoples, of Coldwater, Michigan, Therese (Doug) Daoust of Defiance and Mary Ann (Brian) Gahagan of Suwanee, Georgia.
She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her husband Albert, a daughter Rita Von Pinnon, granddaughter Julie Heller, great granddaughter Anna Heller and sons-in law Russ Scantlen, Alan Von Pinnon and siblings Bernadette, Catherine, Betty, Donald, Peter Jr. and Louis.
Friends may call at the Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00p.m. A rosary service will be held at 7:00p.m.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. John Catholic Church, Defiance on Monday August 24, 2015 at 11:00a.m. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to CHP Hospice In-Patient Center of Defiance or to St. John Catholic Church of Defiance.
