He was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Lois Binz Speier; his children Johnny Speier and wife, Lynn; Mary Gracely and husband, Tony; Jim Speier and wife, Kay; Mike Speier; Kathleen Rockett and husband, Paul; Ann Streater and husband, David; grandchildren Chris, Jamie, Liz, Mark, Kevin, Sam and Claudia Speier; Jill, A.J. & Adam Gracely; Matt, David, Michael, and Daniel Rockett; Amanda and Christian Streater; great granddaughter, Taylor Speier. He is also survived by his sister, Ellamarie Calhoun. His 11 grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
