Dr John "Jack" Michael Haubner, 74, of Phoenix, AZ passed away Aug 12, 2006. John, our beloved husband, father, and friend, went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ. John was born in Carlton on April 7, 1932. John graduated dental school in Minneapolis after serving as a captain in the United States Army. He set up his practice in Duluth and eventually moved back to Carlton and worked at the Carlton Dental Clinic with his brother Michael. In 1998, he and his family moved to Phoenix, AZ. He was employed at the Phoenix Indian Medical Center. John was called to missionary work in third world countries, volunteering his dental services for over 20 years. He enjoyed working with Love in Action Ministries by helping those in need.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Marie Haubner.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Donna; his children, Gay, Loni, Heidi, Jason, John, Jennifer and Jesse; his five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brothers, Dr Michael of Cloquet and Phil of New Brighton, MN.

Friends are invited in the celebration of his life on Saturday, Sep 16, at 11am at Cloquet Gospel Tabernacle.
