༻❁ Johann Georg Durr was born about and christened on April 2, 1711 in Gablenberg, Stuttgart, Baden Wuttemberg, Germany and was the son of Johann Georg Duerr (1671 - 1739) Anna (or Annamaria) Dorothea Duerr. Johann Georg at the age of 23 married Anna Maria Barbara Knauss on February 15, 1735 in Gablenberg, Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

Known Children of Johan Georg and Anna Maria Barbara Knauss Derr:
1) Barbara Derr Birth 1745 in Pennsylvania (likely Germany); Death 19 Aug 1847 in Williams, Northampton, Pennsylvania. Married Frederick Loesch.
2) Michael Derr Birth about 1747 in Pennsylvania (likely in Gemany); Death unknown.
3) Corp Jacob Derr (Johann Jacob) Birth February 11, 1749 in Pennsylvania, USA (Weisenheim Am Sand, Bayern, Germany); Death August 22, 1828 in Upper Milford, Bucks, Pennsylvania. Jacob married Anna Margaretha Miller.

Derr not yet linked to their memorials. He married Anna Mary Cover Derr. Abraham S. and Anna Mary Cover Derr had John C. Derr who married Elizabeth Kemp Derr. John C. and Elizabeth Kemp Derr had 1) Lavina Ruan Derr Miller who married Dr. Jacob L. Miller, no children. 2) Daisy Unruh Derr Miller who married George McC. Miller. They had no children.)

Johann Georg and Anna Maria Barbara Kauss Derr book passage to America in about 1751 and arrived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Likely bringing their first three children with them who have later been listed as being born in America, but were likely born in Germany. It is in Philadelphia, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania that they settled and farmed. It is listed as Philadelphia County, but it is actually in Montgomery County, which is included in the Philadelpia-Camden-Wilmington, PA-NJ-DE-MD metropolitan statistical area. For further reference Wikipedia: Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It is in this area that Johann Georg Derr passed away in 1770. As far as I can tell there is no known burial place for him and seems that either his body is lost or destroyed along with the records of burial.

May beloved Johann rest in the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
