Tillie Pauline was born to William L. and Emilie W. (Zimmermann) Gartmann in Forestville, Door County, Wisconsin in 1891 on August 30 or April 27.
She was four years old when her mother died on September 26, 1895.
Tillie was married three times.
1) Charles Jack or Joseph Peters on October 30, 1909 in Menominee, Menominee, Michigan. Their children: William Herman and Pearl Lydia.
2) Hans Berry Mardin in North Dakota. Their daughters: Lewisa K. and Leona L.
3) John Edison Owen on March 11, 1919 in Dawson County, Montana. Their children: Tillie, Marie Ernstina and John Edson
Tillie passed away at Swedish Hospital, Minneapolis, Minnesota at the age of 61 years.
