CONROE - Eleanor Tupa passed away peacefully with immediate family by her side on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at the age of eighty-eight. Giving, loving, and self-less was Eleanor.

Eleanor was born on January 8, 1927 in Schulenburg, TX to her parents Ferdinand and Anna Heinrich. After graduating high school she worked for Dr. Watzlavick as a nurse for thirty years. She married Adolph Tupa in 1965 and this year they celebrated their golden anniversary. September of 1966 she gave birth to her daughter. In 1967 they moved to Conroe, TX and have made their home there ever since. Eleanor continued her career as a nurse for Dr. E.E. Lenon for eighteen more years. She also was very well known as 'Nanny' to many children she cared for.

Eleanor was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Schulenburg Council and also a member of Sacred Heart Church, Conroe.

She is preceded in death by her brothers Adolph, Alfred, Victor, Bernard 'Tex', Gus, and Herman Heinrich and sister Regina Bittner.

Eleanor Tupa's visitation will be Wednesday, September 16, 2015; family from 4:00-5:00 pm, friends and family from 5:00-7:00 pm, and a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, TX.

The funeral will be held Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Conroe, TX with burial at Garden Park Cemetery. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Eleanor's life.
