His grandfather, Frank Guenther, was the founder of Hancock, Texas area and owed and operated the Post Office, general store, bar and dance hall. Presently the location of this property is under Canyon Lake. His father was a farmer, rancher and developer who owned and operated the John Deere dealership in New Braunfels."
