ARCADIA — Mass of the resurrection for Mrs. Elizabeth Weber Staiert, 94, of Arcadia was celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's Church here by the Rev. C. A. Ahmann, Dr. Leon Wernimont was lector. Altar boys were John Anderson, John Berning and Jeff Hinners. Pallbearers were Richard Staiert, David Staiert, Paul Wernimont, Leon Kennebeck, Ken Nieland and Leonard Nieland.
An honor guard was formed by a large number of members of the Christian Mothers Society. Interment was in the parish cemetery, under direction of the Twit Funeral Home of Carroll. Relatives and friends attended the funeral from Raymore, Mo.; Seneca, Kan.; Spokane, Wash.; Geneseo, III.; S t. Paul, Minn.; Milwaukee and LaCrosse, Wis.; Omaha, Neb.; Des Moines, Elk Horn, Lake View, Dubuque, Cedar Falls, Glenwood, Sioux City, Danbury, Fonda, Varina and the surrounding area.
