Passing of Gerhard Alberding
Gerhard Alberding, who resided near San Pierre, just across the line in Pulaski County, passed out of this life last Saturday at the advanced age of 72 years, 9 months, and 16 days, after a week's sickness of pneumonia. He was a highly respected citizen and his death is mourned by a host of friends and relatives. He is survived by a widow and 7 children, two daughters and five sons: Mrs. Catherine Menge and Mrs. Dora Kroft; Herman, August, Henry, George and Charles Alberding. Funeral services were conducted from the San Pierre Lutheran Church Tuesday afternoon and interment was in the cemetery at that place.
