Frances was born Oct. 10, 1918 in Bluffton to Mary (Vorderbruggen) and Bernard Kluenenberg. She was united in marriage to Arthur Nesges on Sept. 6, 1945. Together they farmed in Bluffton township. They lived on the farm until 2010 when they moved to St. Cloud.
Frances enjoyed cooking, baking and caring for her flowers. Her greatest love was spending time with her family. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother who always thought of others before herself. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Bluffton, Mission Group, Christian Mothers and National Catholic Society of Foresters.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 9, at St. Benedict's Senior Community Chapel in St. Cloud with Father Meinrad Dindorf officiating. Arrangements were with Cremation Society of Minnesota.
Frances is survived by her husband, Arthur; son, Randy (Noni) Nesges of Kalispell, Mont.; daughters, Sandra Nesges of Minneapolis, Linda Nesges of Minneapolis, Bonita (Peter) Minten of Auburn, Wash., and Maridee (Terry) Knauf of Cold Spring; as well as three grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Bernard and Mary Kluenenberg; sisters Mary Schmiesing, Anna Rydbom, Barbara Weller, Rose Simon and Bertha Allen; brothers, Joseph Kluenenberg and Bernard Kluenenberg.
