HICKORY-Corey Dylan Good, 18 of Hickory passed away September 23, 2015 as a result of an automobile accident.
Corey was born on November 12, 1996 on a beautiful fall afternoon in Asheville, to a loving family. He brought his family much joy, love and happiness and is his mother's angel. Corey graduated from St. Stephens High School in 2015, He loved to play baseball and soccer; he also loved cruising. He was employed by Wal-Mart Neighborhood Grocery store.
He is survived by his mother Christina Griffin of the home; his grandmother Carolyn Travis and her husband Chuck of Conover; his grandfather Milton Griffin of Conover; his uncles Kevin Griffin and his wife Tamara of Marion, and Patrick Griffin and wife Nicki of Wake Forest; and his cousins Trevor Griffin of Marion and Harper Griffin of Wake Forest; and his best friend Tyler Rikard.
His kind, caring heart, wonderful sense of humor, beautiful blue eyes and sweet smile will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched during his shortened but happy life.
The family will receive friends Monday September 28, 2015 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Hickory Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 2:00pm at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
