Age 84, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 28, 2015 surrounded by his loving family at the Waunakee Manor. He was born on May 2, 1931 in Cross Plains, the son of Jacob and Amelia (Bollenbeck) Zander. He attended St. Francis Xavier Grade School, Park High School in Cross Plains and Middleton High School. Phillip proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was a member of the American Legion Post No 245 of Cross Plains. He worked for Coca Cola in Madison for 22 years. He then went to work for General Beer and Beverage until his retirement. He was united in marriage to the love of his life Doris Sersch. She preceded him in death in 2011.
In addition to his wife, Doris, Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, four children in infancy, a granddaughter Lindsey Zander, six brothers, Arthur, Albert, Anthony, Roman, James and Arnold and two sisters, Dorothy and Julianna
