Myrtle L. Harland, 97, of Coldwater, passed away February 16, 2008 at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall. She was born April 5, 1910 in Ingham County, Michigan to Claude Leroy and Carrie Anna (Burk) Stuart.

She graduated from Jackson High School in 1927. On January 9, 1930 she married Neil D. Harland in Bryan, Ohio. He preceded her in death in 1993. Myrtle was an office worker at S.S. Kresge Company and Kmart.

She is survived by her children: Robert N. (Joyce) Harland of Battle Creek, Barbara A. Nicholls of Jackson, Jack D. Harland of Huffman, TX, Beverly J. Frenzel (John D. Ferris) of Coldwater, a sister; Dorothy Edinger of Wisconsin, 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Neil; a brother, Charles and 2 grandchildren; Randy and Wade.

Myrtle loved long walks, reading, the out of doors, fishing and hunting.

There is no visitation scheduled. A Memorial service will take place at a later date.
