He was a long time member of West Anaheim United Methodist Church, where he served on many committees, including the building committee for the main sanctuary. He was married twice to Monya Taggert (who died 17 years before he did) and Meridith Bueonocore. He had three children (Linell, Jeff and Scott) and two step children (Laurie and David) He had a great understanding of the church because he made me feel on church council where I served with him for twenty years. He also played handbells for a couple of years in the church handbell choir. He was also a officier in the United States Navy and attended the University of California Berkley.
