Chris Bieker, 53, Colby, died Saturday, April 14, 2012.

He was born Dec. 16, 1958, in Colby to Theodore and Leona (Billinger) Bieker.

He married Sharon (Payne) Bieker on Sept. 23, 1978.

He was a 1976 graduate of Colby High School. He worked for the city of Colby as public works director and was the former Thomas County road supervisor for more than 20 years

Survivors include his wife, of the home; two children, Heath Bieker, Manhattan, and Tisha Bieker, Colby; two brothers, Vernon Bieker, Crowley, Texas, and Robert Bieker, Hays; and three sisters, Ramona Stupka, Maybelle Moore and Peggy Young, all of Colby.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and four infant children.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Colby; burial in Beulah Cemetery, Colby.

Memorials are suggested to Northwest Kansas Foundation for Hope in care of Baalmann Mortuary, P.O. Box 391, Colby, KS 67701.
