Robert L. Hunninghake, 60, of 103 Compliment St., Coal Grove, died Thursday at 1 p.m. at Lawrence County General Hospital after an illness of 10 years.
Mr. Hunninghake was born in Newport, Ky. on November 8, 1902. He was married September 27, 1924 to Ethel Fields and spent most of his life in Coal Grove.
He retired 10 years ago from the Dayton Malleable Iron Co.
Surviving are his wife Ethel, four daughters, Mrs. Calvin (Rosemary) Waller, Mrs. Jack (Kathleen) Bryant, and Mrs. Arnold (Betty Lou) Pemberton all of Coal Grove and Mrs. James (Joyce) Voss of Columbus; two sons, Robert Jr., of South Point and William of Norfolk, Va.
Funeral Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in Phillips Funeral Home. Rev. Willard Matney officiating with burial in Ice Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Saturday. The family requests in lieu of floral offerings contributions be made to a favorite charity.
