Mark H. Frank, 83, of 563 Halyday Run Road, Oil City, died at 5:01 pm Sunday in Oil City Hospital, where he was admitted Jan. 27. He was born in Reno April 19, 1900, son of William R. and Nettie Mae Courson Frank.
He worked as a machinist at National Transit Co., the Worthington Corp. in Oil City for 47 years, retiring in 1969. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church of Oil City, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He married Margaret Shepard who died in 1949; then married Ada A. Smith, who survives, with two daughters, Mrs. Reta McDaniel of Oil City RD 1 and Mrs. Jack (Jean) Davis of Rocky Grove; a brother, Floyd Frank of Oil City; two step-sons, Howard W. Pratt ad Richard D. Pratt of Oil City; a step-daughter, Mrs. gene (Shirley) Smith of Hermitage; 7 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 3 step-great-grandchildren. Deceased are two sisters, Susan Frank and Bessie Davenport; and a step-granddaughter.
Services will be at 11 am Wednesday at Osenider Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Polowsky, his pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Reno Cemetery.
